MGCC U17 BREAK 23 YEARS OLD DROUGHT TO CLAIM WADCC SHIELD

Midland-Guildford has broken a 23 year drought by taking the WADCC Under 17’s Shield in a wonderful display against Wanneroo at Lilac Hill Park on Saturday 28th March 2014.

It was the first time the club has taken the under 17’s title since a fresh faced Simon Katich donned the creams for the black and whites in his last year of junior cricket with the club. …

ALL IN THE PLAN – WOODEN SPOON TO “A” GRADE PREMIERS 2009-10

It’s the last game of the 2008-09 season, we have just lost against Rockingham Mandurah at Lark Hill and I have just been presented a large hand crafted wooden spoon. In the team bus on the way back to Perth I sit with a bottle of Riccadonna in one hand and large wooden spoon in the other.

MGCC U14 WINS GRAND FINAL 2014

In a nail biting game, Midland-Guildford narrowly defeated Subiaco Floreat in the WACA Under 14’s McKenzie Shield Grand Final held at Lilac Hill Park on Sunday 16th March 2014. Joel Curtis, captain of the victorious Midland Guildford side, said "We looked down for the count against a strong Subiaco side, but somehow we were able to produce one of the greatest comebacks WACA district cricket has ever seen.…

U13 TEAM WINS 2012/13 FLAG


A premiership victory capped off a very rewarding season for the MGCC 2012-13 Under 13 squad.

Following a tight race for a finals berth, a place in the post-season was not secured until the last round of the regular season, with Midland Guildford finishing second on the Northern Districts division ladder.

MIDLAND-Guildford Cricket Club enjoyed athrilling win in the WACA colts final overrivals Bayswater-Mor1ey.

They were the underdogs from game one, butmanaged to overcome the odds to beat fourstrong sides in the elimination competition.
